Fractional Brownian Vector Fields
This work puts forward an extended definition of vector fractional Brownian motion (fBm) using a distribution theoretic formulation in the spirit of Gel’fand and Vilenkin’s stochastic analysis. We introduce random vector fields that share the statistical invariances of standard vector fBm (self-similarity and rotation invariance) but which, in contrast, have dependent vector components in the g...
متن کاملIntegration of Brownian vector fields
Using the Wiener chaos decomposition, we show that strong solutions of non Lipschitzian S.D.E.'s are given by random Markovian kernels. The example of Sobolev flows is studied in some detail, exhibiting interesting phase transitions. Résumé. Intégration de champs de vecteurs browniens. En utilisant la décomposition en chaos de Wiener, nous montrons que les solutions fortes d'E.D.S. non Lipschit...
متن کاملFractional Brownian fields, duality, and martingales
In this paper the whole family of fractional Brownian motions is constructed as a single Gaussian field indexed by time and the Hurst index simultaneously. The field has a simple covariance structure and it is related to two generalizations of fractional Brownian motion known as multifractional Brownian motions. A mistake common to the existing literature regarding multifractional Brownian moti...
متن کاملDomain and range symmetries of operator fractional Brownian fields
An operator fractional Brownian field (OFBF) is a Gaussian, stationary increment Rvalued random field on R that satisfies the operator self-similarity property {X(ct)}t∈Rm L = {cX(t)}t∈Rm , c > 0, for two matrix exponents (E,H). In this paper, we characterize the domain and range symmetries of OFBF, respectively, as maximal groups with respect to equivalence classes generated by orbits and, bas...
متن کاملLacunary Fractional Brownian Motion
In this paper, a new class of Gaussian field is introduced called Lacunary Fractional Brownian Motion. Surprisingly we show that usually their tangent fields are not unique at every point. We also investigate the smoothness of the sample paths of Lacunary Fractional Brownian Motion using wavelet analysis.
